Terms of use

Terms for using FormalEngine and future self-service subscriptions.

These terms apply to paid contracts for FormalEngine. During the waitlist phase, no paid contract is formed. Joining the public waitlist does not currently create a paid subscription.

1. Provider and scope

The provider is EUROPE SOFTWARE PARTNER AND PAYMENT SOLUTIONS OÜ, Narva mnt 5, 10117 Tallinn, Estonia. FormalEngine is offered to consumers, businesses, self-employed professionals and organisations. Consumers additionally benefit from the consumer terms and mandatory statutory protections.

2. Service

FormalEngine is a software platform for organising and governing AI-assisted company work. Exact functionality depends on plan, product maturity, supported hardware, enabled integrations and agreed add-ons. No specific economic outcome, revenue level, savings amount or complete replacement of human employees is guaranteed.

3. Private beta and waitlist

Waitlist registration is free and does not create a right to access. Invitations are issued in limited onboarding cohorts. Eligible waitlist members may receive a 30% founding-customer discount for the first 12 months during private beta. It cannot be combined with annual savings or other promotions.

4. Pricing and terms

Planned regular prices are €79/month Individual, €199/month Team and €499/month Business; Enterprise by quote. Consumer prices include applicable VAT. Business prices may be displayed net plus applicable VAT. Annual plans normally equal ten monthly payments (two months saved) and run for twelve months.

5. Cancellation

Monthly self-service plans can be cancelled for the end of the current billing period. Annual plans run for twelve months; cancellation prevents renewal. Mandatory consumer rights, including withdrawal rights and rights for digital services, remain unaffected.

6. Compute, models and third parties

Customer hardware can be used when technical requirements are met. Open-model runtime, BYOK access and managed GPU/cloud nodes depend on plan and availability. Managed compute is available on request during private beta and may be billed additionally by usage. External AI providers such as Anthropic or OpenAI are subject to their own terms and availability.

7. Responsibility and approvals

FormalEngine provides policies, human approvals and technical controls. Users remain responsible for business decisions, legal compliance, content, budgets, external communication and selecting suitable approval rules. AI outputs should receive appropriate human review before legally, financially, medically, security-critical or otherwise material decisions.

8. Acceptable use

Illegal content or actions, attacks on third-party systems, spam, malware outside expressly isolated test environments, circumvention of technical limits and unauthorised use of third-party credentials are prohibited.

9. Customer data and secrets

Users must protect credentials and configure appropriate data classifications and provider permissions. FormalEngine follows “local by default / sync by policy” but does not replace the customer's organisational obligations for lawful data processing.

10. Availability and changes

Beta functions may change. Maintenance, third-party outages, local hardware failures and external model providers can affect availability. SLAs apply only where expressly agreed.

11. Liability

Applicable statutory liability rules apply. Where legally permitted, individually agreed limitations for business customers take precedence. Mandatory liability, including intent, gross negligence, death/personal injury and mandatory consumer rights, remains unaffected.
