Privacy notice
Privacy information for formalengine.com, the waitlist and the public product preview.
This notice covers the public FormalEngine website and waitlist. Product workspaces, customer nodes and AI-provider processing will be documented and contractually addressed before production use.
1. Controller
EUROPE SOFTWARE PARTNER AND PAYMENT SOLUTIONS OÜ, Narva mnt 5, 10117 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia, represented by Markus Scherreik. Privacy contact: privacy@formalengine.com.
2. Website access
When the site is accessed, technically necessary connection data may be processed, including IP address, time, requested URL, HTTP status and browser/operating-system information where transmitted. This serves delivery, error diagnosis and abuse prevention. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The website is hosted on infrastructure located in Germany. The specific infrastructure provider is not published as a marketing detail; information on recipients or categories of recipients required under the GDPR will be provided as legally required.
3. Waitlist
For the waitlist we process name, email address, company/organisation, use case and optional hardware/GPU information. This is used to handle early-access requests and organise limited onboarding cohorts. Submissions are delivered server-side to hello@formalengine.com; no additional marketing database is operated.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a potential contract, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for business contacts acting for an organisation. Requests that do not result in a contract are generally intended for deletion six months after processing is complete unless legal retention or legitimate reasons require longer storage.
4. Newsletter
The waitlist is not an automatic newsletter subscription. Marketing email is sent only when the separate optional checkbox is selected. Consent can be withdrawn at any time for the future. Regular newsletter delivery is intended to use double opt-in.
5. Cookieless analytics
FormalEngine launches without marketing cookies and without Google Analytics. A self-operated cookieless first-party analytics system is planned on controlled infrastructure. Only minimised usage and event data necessary to improve and operate the website is intended to be collected. No cross-site advertising profile is created.
6. Error monitoring
A self-operated error-monitoring system may process technical error details, affected URL, time and reduced device/browser information. Form contents, passwords and secrets should not be captured as error payloads.
7. Fonts, media and CDN
Fonts are self-hosted or system fonts are used. Product screenshots and product videos are served without third-party marketing embeds. A CDN may be used for static content and will process connection data technically required for delivery.
8. Abuse prevention / CAPTCHA
The waitlist form is intended to start with a honeypot and server-side rate limiting. CAPTCHA is not loaded by default. If concrete abuse requires a CAPTCHA mechanism, only a privacy-oriented implementation will be used, and this notice will then be extended with the relevant details.
9. Payments
No checkout is active during the public waitlist phase and no Stripe scripts are loaded. Stripe is the designated payment provider for direct checkout. Before a checkout is activated, the concrete payment providers, recipients, legal bases and any international transfers will be added to this notice.
10. AI providers and customer nodes
The public website does not automatically send website-form data to AI providers. The FormalEngine product may use local open models and optional premium external models. Product policies and data classification determine what context may leave a customer node. An external AI provider's processing location is separate from the website hosting region.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Consent can be withdrawn for the future. Complaints may be submitted to a competent data-protection authority; the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) is an authority relevant to the provider's seat.
12. Automated decisions
Joining the waitlist does not produce an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects. Waitlist registration does not create a right to beta access.
